You can view this Adobe Acrobat portable digital format (PDF) document using Adobe Acrobat Reader -- a free program that can display and print Internet digital documents. To transfer a PDF document to your computer's hard drive: 

• Using Internet Explorer for Windows, right click on the link and select "Save target as..."
• Using Netscape Communicator for Windows, right click on the link and select "Save this link as..."
• Using Netscape Communicator for Macintosh, hold the Control key down as you click on the link, and select "Save this link as..." 
• If your web viewer supports "drag and drop," you can download a file simply by dragging its link (underlined hypertext) to a local folder or to your desktop.

British Columbia Teachers can also find an Adobe Acrobat Reader installation program on the BC Ministry of Education's Integrated Resource Package (IRP) CD-ROM. Adobe Acrobat documents retain the formatting of the original document, whether you are using a Unix, Macintosh, Windows or PC-DOS computer. The program includes a tool for finding text, so you can search for an article by name. The cumulative index includes Acrobat bookmarks and a hypertext link to our BCTLA web site.
